- Structural Prep & Insulation: Our crew began by carefully removing all existing siding while preserving the home’s decorative buttresses for reinstallation later. We removed the original tongue-and-groove sheathing and fully insulated every exterior wall cavity to improve year-round comfort and energy efficiency.
- CDX Sheathing & Windows: Once the insulation was complete, we installed new CDX structural sheathing across the entire home to create a solid, code-compliant foundation. We then removed and replaced every window with new energy-efficient units, providing improved insulation and better natural light.
- James Hardie Siding Installation: With the weather barrier and structural components upgraded, our team installed premium James Hardie fiber cement siding and matching trim for exceptional durability, low maintenance, and long-lasting protection against the Pacific Northwest climate.
- Architectural Restoration & Painting: To preserve the home’s unique character, we carefully repaired the decorative gable boards before reinstalling the original decorative buttresses. We then meticulously prepared every exterior surface before professionally painting the entire home, including the front porch.
